For its This Car Matters movement, the Historic Vehicle Association is asking people to share their stories about special vehicles — ones that helped to shape their lives and communities, and our history and heritage. Check out the videos below, and if you haven’t yet shared your story, head on over to the This Car Matters page on our website to find out how you can participate.
Edelbrock’s Boss 302
1969 Ford Mustang Trans Am Boss 302, owned by Vic Edelbrock
This Car Matters because it is one of two remaining cars produced by Ford Motor Company, Kar Kraft and Bud Moore, for the 1969 Trans Am racing season. This Skunkworks racer was driven by George Follmer in period and is raced today by Vic Edelbrock.
1925 Lincoln Judkins Coupe, owned by Patricia Irvin
This Car Matters because it is a very well-preserved and unrestored example of a 1925 Judkins Coupe. It has 28,000 original miles and is carefully maintained by a passionate owner.
1958 Fiat 600 Sport Viotti, owned by Donald Osborne
This Car Matters because it is an unrestored example of a small and elegant special-bodied Fiat. This car was imported in the late ‘50s as a gift for a Connecticut family’s Swiss au pair.
