THIS CAR MATTERS: 1918 Cadillac Type 57 (U.S. 1257X)

The Historic Vehicle Association recently met up with Marc Lassen, current owner of the 1918 Cadillac Type 57 (U.S. 1257X) to get the full story behind this WWI survivor. Along with its fascinating history, U.S. 1257X becomes the fourth vehicle to be documented on the National Historic Vehicle Register. Check out the video to learn more about this fascinating car and its history.

For its THIS CAR MATTERS movement, the HVA is asking people to share their stories about special vehicles — ones that helped to shape their lives and communities, our history and our heritage.

Check out the video below and if you haven’t yet shared your story, head on over to the HVA’s THIS CAR MATTERS page to find out how you can participate.
