THIS CAR MATTERS: From The Archives 1947 Tucker 48 Prototype (“The Tin Goose”)

Hard to believe a year has passed since we announced this automotive marvel’s inclusion on the National Historic Vehicle Register. Take a look back at the fascinating history of the so-called “Tin Goose” and the Tucker Corporation as told by Preston Tucker’s grandson, John Tucker.

For its THIS CAR MATTERS movement, the Historic Vehicle Association is asking people to share their stories about special vehicles — ones that helped to shape their lives and communities, our history and our heritage.

Check out the video below and if you haven’t yet shared your story, head on over to the HVA’s THIS CAR MATTERS page to find out how you can participate.
