Join the Society of Automotive Historians at Hershey to Celebrate their 50th Anniversary!
The Society of Automotive Historians (SAH) was founded in Hershey, PA at the 1969 AACA Hershey Fall Meet 50 years ago! This October the SAH will be celebrating this milestone with a special Anniversary Gala Awards Banquet with famed author, journalist and historian, Karl Ludvigsen as the guest speaker. Ludvigsen, an SAH member since 1970, has written a slew of books covering Indy cars, Can Am cars, Corvettes, Jaguars, Porsches, and more! Ludvigsen began his writing automotive career for MIT’s Tech Engineering News in 1953. He wrote for Automobile Quarterly, served as an editor for both Car and Driver and Motor Trend and as the technical editor of Auto Age and Sports Cars Illustrated.
The banquet will be held at the Hershey Country Club Friday, October 11, 2019 at 6:00 PM. For more information and to register head over to the SAH website here.
Additionally, on Thursday, October 10 from 12:30 – 3PM the SAH will be hosting their Annual Book Signing which will include Karl Ludvigsen. Stop by their tent in the Orange Field (OBB 17-19) at the swap meet throughout the week and especially on Thursday to meet some fantastic authors writing about automotive history!
