Each year the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, rated the #1 collection in the world, hosts the Philadelphia Concours. This premier car show displays an array of vehicles produced prior to 1970 for judging and showcasing to the public. The event benefits the Cool Cars for Kids, Inc. foundation which exists to provide help and hope to children born with rare genetic diagnoses to support research for possible treatments through the Rare Diagnoses Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
The HVA has partnered with the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum to make the Philadelphia Concours a part of our 2020 Drive History Conference. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to attend a privately-guided tour of the Simeone Museum by its curator, Dr. Fred Simeone, featuring a “Ford v. Ferrari” display of vintage racecars alongside admission to the Philadelphia Concours.
Cars to be featured in the “Ford v Ferrari” discussion include 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX2287 (NHVR No. 1), 1966 Ford GT40 MKII, 1967 Ford GT40 MKIV, 1963 Ferrari 250P, 1964 Ferrari 365 P4, 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, 1958 Aston Martin DBR1, and many others! We’re happy to help share this world-class collection with our Conference Attendees and the Philadelphia Concours for the benefit of the Cool Cars for Kids Foundation.
