HVA Matters: Looking Forward To 2015

We’re only a couple weeks into the New Year, but here at the HVA we’ve got a full slate ahead of us in the coming months. Here’s the rundown of what’s coming in the year ahead.

Washington Auto Show

As in 2014, the New Year kicks off for the HVA with the Washington Auto Show (WAS) and the announcement of another addition to the National Historic Vehicle Register. While last year’s event served as the public unveiling of the Register, 2015 will showcase the first truck to be added to the Register—General Motors  Futurliner #10, part of the second Parade of Progress.

Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance

Amelia Island

While the big news is certainly the addition of the Futurliner to the National Historic Vehicle Register, the HVA will also be returning to the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in 2015. Serving as the official kickoff to the concours season, Amelia Island is the always the place to see some of the best, most iconic cars out there.
