My vehicles and boats are all older vintage machines. I have experienced problems with my outboard motor that I have always maintained and now have problems because of the ethanol gas. My vehicles are malfunctioning for the same reason. My chainsaws and my grass trimmer is now acting up as well. It is all being caused by this ethanol additive. You must stop this action until a review is accomplished.

Articles like these put the consumer in the driver seat-very important.

After repairing my '66 Triumph, my British mechanic told me to get pure gas for it and avoid ethanol at all possible. There is one station I have been to that has one pump for pure gas and the others for ethanol E10. It's located on the other side of town but this is what I have to do. Congress and the President don't care about classic cars, they only care about the voting masses driving modern "fuel efficient" cars. I like driving my old Triumphs more than my modern cars.

I would dearly love to eliminate the possibility of ethanol polluting the fuel system on my 1965 Ford Thunderbird Special Landau any further than it already has, so I thank you for providing this resource for those of us seeking PURE gasoline for our vehicles... particularly the Classics that are not built with alcohol fuel resistant parts able to cope with alcohol in our fuel without damage. Again, my thanks for providing this resource, but I find it very difficult to locate a local source of supply, particularly amongst the many pointers in large metropolitan areas (mine would be Seattle, WA) and I was wondering if you (or any reader of this comment) might be able to provide a link to a "Zip Code centric" source of information on locations of local providers (close to a certain Zip Code) Thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide!

I have four vehicles with carburators.I sure would like it if they would keep the ethanol out.

I use STAR TRON enzyme fuel treatment in my vintage 1973 corvette,it keeps it running like a clock, along with my harley, lawn mower, weed trimmer and chain saw.It will combat E-10 ethanol problems.Check it out at www.startron.com

There isn't a ethanol free station within 30 miles of here, as usual the average person gets another screwing from big goverment, big oil and detroit, they are all in bed together. I have all older vehicles and love them don't want anypart of the new ones even if I could afford them.

I added this page to our resource list that includes locations of ethanol-free gas stations (See #10) - http://www.fuel-testers.com/find_ethanol_free_gasoline.html How accurate is your list? How often is it updated? Do you require or encourage those posting stations to test gas to confirm it actually is alcohol-free? Thanks-

I had a 1995 GMC that I keep in perfect shape untill ethanol started being mixed with the gas.At this point I started having problems with the truck . after working on this problem for over a year with my machanic I got rid of the truck.I have a newer 2006 now, but I only go to stations that do not use ethanol. On top of everything you get a lot less milage with ethanol added than gas with out ethanol so how is the GOverment helping the people?

  13. Mike W. Florida

I've already had one engine develop fuel system problems and this after being able to keep it ethanol free for decades of hauling fuel in jerry cans, not any more and even the ethanol compliant fuel lines start leaking after time. I also have a roto-tiller that has fuel problems after using the ex-governor mandated ethanol fuel here to see if it would start after sitting. I have found one ethanol free station in Palatka and one in Ocala, both with so called premium fuel at 90 octane. which was regular back in the day.

the only reason we have ethonal is to pay the farmers to grow corn goverment sponserd. why does the goverment force us to get ethonal forced down our gas tanks it decreases gas milage, its a corrosive, it causes rust, it eats rubber products as well as plastic and aluminum. more and more people are breaking down cause of this product. it has no purpous at all but the goverment has to get rid of it more and more cars are going through major repairs due fuel systoms breaking down. even on new cars that a owner who can barely make the payment now has over a thousand dollar bill at the dealership thinking it was covered under warrenty but its not ... the dealer is saying its not responsible for fuel realed repairs due to ethonal . so her we are getting less gas at the pump. getting poor milage. cars breaking down over and over due to ethonal. so where is the savings on fuel when it cost u more the other ways thanks to stabail they came out with a product to help get rid of the ethonal the even say it on the tv commercials. im the goverment has not taken it off the air

Here in the UK the level of ethenol is 5% a classic car owner told me. At this time my old car started to overheat. There is an additive available which keeps it cool(er). Costs £6 plus. ($9?) a tankful available at accessory shops (not at the pumps!) We mostly have no choice at the pumps, just diesel or unleaded. Rare to find a garage with super unleaded. Does this contain it? The engine cuts out sometimes, so no servo. (Brakes) it doesn't like this new fuel. Every other neighbour has a petrol mower, do they know?

  22. StephBurlew Mnor Hill, TN

The ethenol on fuel needs to go . Its not good for the carburators in classic cars. There is a gas station that has pure fuel but its premium . I put that in the tank of my'61 fury

I have a 2011 dodge charger rt. I will never use ethanol gas in my car, sometimes I'm forced to if I'm on the road. I will be moving to Ocala fl soon at least I can get my fix at the exit 352 Sunoco. The government should not be dictating that we use ethanol based fuels and the feds scream they want better gas mileage standards, well obama can't have it both ways fuel mileage will suffer because of ethanol. We do not need federal subsidies for farmers to grow corn.

  30. Jude Thibault Crossville, Tn

Complaining / venting solves NO problems ! Why not organize ourselves / UNITING to file a class action suit against those who are imposing the use / blending ethanol with gasoline ??? There must be someone in this group with knowledge to initiate that action.
