Name That Vehicle

Thank you to everyone who commented on the vehicle photo on the HVA website and the HVA's Facebook page.

The vehicle in the photo is a 1952-53 IFA Framo V 901 Kosterwagen.

The FRAMO marque was produced in Saxony by the Frankenberg Motorenwerke, which produced vehicles either side of World War II, until production was switched to Chemnitz (Karl-Marx-Stadt) under the name Barkas which was the East German manufacturer of small delivery vans and minibuses named B1000.

    I am not exactly sure but I think it is a British Hillman truck and when I was a kid and somewhere in the attic I still have a Dinky Toy model of that truck with a flat bed rear.

    I am not exactly sure but I believe it is a British Hilman truck from the late forties. It looks very close to a Dinky toy truck that I had when I was a child. I still have it in the attic somewhere. It is either a flat bed or a tow truck.
