ETHANOL FUEL PETITION

We think Congress should vote to suspend the ethanol mandate until it is shown to be safe for ALL cars, cost effective without subsidies and good for the environment.  We will be sending Congress and the Obama Administration a list of the signatures along with our formal written opposition.

My vehicles and boats are all older vintage machines. I have experienced problems with my outboard motor that I have always maintained and now have problems because of the ethanol gas. My vehicles are malfunctioning for the same reason. My chainsaws and my grass trimmer is now acting up as well. It is all being caused by this ethanol additive. You must stop this action until a review is accomplished.

Articles like these put the consumer in the driver seat-very important.

After repairing my '66 Triumph, my British mechanic told me to get pure gas for it and avoid ethanol at all possible. There is one station I have been to that has one pump for pure gas and the others for ethanol E10. It's located on the other side of town but this is what I have to do. Congress and the President don't care about classic cars, they only care about the voting masses driving modern "fuel efficient" cars. I like driving my old Triumphs more than my modern cars.

I have four vehicles with carburators.I sure would like it if they would keep the ethanol out.

I use STAR TRON enzyme fuel treatment in my vintage 1973 corvette,it keeps it running like a clock, along with my harley, lawn mower, weed trimmer and chain saw.It will combat E-10 ethanol problems.Check it out at www.startron.com

There isn't a ethanol free station within 30 miles of here, as usual the average person gets another screwing from big goverment, big oil and detroit, they are all in bed together. I have all older vehicles and love them don't want anypart of the new ones even if I could afford them.

I had a 1995 GMC that I keep in perfect shape untill ethanol started being mixed with the gas.At this point I started having problems with the truck . after working on this problem for over a year with my machanic I got rid of the truck.I have a newer 2006 now, but I only go to stations that do not use ethanol. On top of everything you get a lot less milage with ethanol added than gas with out ethanol so how is the GOverment helping the people?

I've already had one engine develop fuel system problems and this after being able to keep it ethanol free for decades of hauling fuel in jerry cans, not any more and even the ethanol compliant fuel lines start leaking after time. I also have a roto-tiller that has fuel problems after using the ex-governor mandated ethanol fuel here to see if it would start after sitting. I have found one ethanol free station in Palatka and one in Ocala, both with so called premium fuel at 90 octane. which was regular back in the day.

'richard rudy elkhart ind. 'There isn't a ethanol free station within 30 miles of here.' Hey, in Mishawaka, 9 miles from Elkhart, there is premium 100% gasoline. Go to pure-gas.org for the address & details.
